Hot tub removal in Denver.
Denver's older neighbourhoods are where access gets interesting — bungalows with narrow side yards, alley-access back gardens, and tubs installed before the fence went up.

Access in Denver
- Wash Park, Platt Park, Baker — Narrow side yards and alley access. Most removals here need the shell cut into three or more sections.
- Park Hill and Montclair — Larger lots, often deck-integrated tubs from 1990s and 2000s installs.
- Central Park and Green Valley Ranch — Newer builds with standard gates and straightforward ground-level access.
- Downtown and RiNo — Rooftop and terrace installations, where a crane or lift is occasionally the only route.
Why the city will not take a hot tub
People often ask whether Denver’s large-item collection will handle a spa. It will not, and the reason is written into the programme. Large Item Pickup takes furniture, rugs and exercise equipment, but it explicitly excludes construction materials and appliances — and an acrylic shell on a fibreglass and foam base, with a hard-wired heater and pump pack, is read as both.
Even setting the exclusion aside, the logistics do not work. Everything has to be at the kerb by 6 a.m. on your collection day, clear of carts and cars. A tub sunk into a deck, wedged in a side yard, or wired to a 240-volt spa panel cannot get to the kerb intact — and a dry shell is commonly 300 to 900 lb before you add the cabinet, cover and surround.
So the work is the same whoever does it: kill the circuit at the panel, drain it, strip the cabinet, cut the shell into sections that fit the access you actually have, and carry it out. What a specialist crew brings is that the cutting happens on purpose rather than in your driveway at 5 a.m.

Questions
Denver removals
What about alley access?
It's common. Alley access is often easier than street frontage in Denver's older grid — a truck can park much closer to the back garden.
Can a rooftop terrace tub be removed?
Yes, though it needs a site visit first. Those are the jobs where a crane sometimes becomes the answer.
Is parking a problem?
Rarely. A street-closure permit is only needed in unusual cases; ask the removal company who arranges it.
