Above-ground pool removal.
Different job from a spa entirely. Nothing gets cut — a pool gets unbolted, rolled and stacked. The water and the sand base are the parts people forget.

The detail
What is different about this job
It is dismantling, not cutting
An above-ground pool is a steel or resin wall held in a track, a vinyl liner, a top rail and uprights, sitting on a sand base. It comes apart with spanners rather than a saw: liner out, rails off, wall unbolted and rolled like a carpet, uprights and track stacked. Quieter and faster than a spa, and most of it is steel that goes to a metal recycler.
The water is the real question
A 24 ft round pool holds roughly 13,000 to 15,000 gallons. That has to go somewhere legal — not into a neighbour’s yard, and not into a storm drain if it is still chlorinated. The usual answer is to stop chlorinating for a week or two, let the level drop, and drain slowly to a sanitary sewer clean-out or across your own ground where it can soak away. Tell us if it is still full when you get in touch; a full pool is a scheduling problem, not a surprise on the day.
What is underneath
Expect a ring of dead grass and two to four inches of levelling sand. The crew can usually rake and remove the sand or leave it graded flat, whichever you want — it is the difference between a lawn you can reseed and a patch you will be looking at all summer.
Questions
Above-ground pool removal
Is draining included?
Usually not; removal crews don't haul water. We'll tell you how to drain it safely and how long to leave for it, so the removal is booked for after that.
Will the lawn recover?
The footprint will be bare and compacted. Remove the sand, break up the surface and reseed and it comes back in a season.
Can the deck around it go too?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper done in the same visit than as a second job.
